Flashback Data is scaling. We are a fast growing, cutting-edge technology company looking for new blood in our forensics services division. Since 2004, we've served the global community by doing corporate investigations, providing expert services to attorneys, and helping foreign law enforcement with high profile crime. We're currently the only private sector lab in the world accredited for digital forensics by the American Society of Crime Lab Directors under their International program. (1 of 11; the other 10 labs are owned by the FBI, DEA, state law enforcement or a foreign government.)

What We Need

If you're a Texas attorney looking for a break from the law and you think you can help us develop new business in the Austin/San Antonio legal community -- let's talk. The ideal candidate fits our company culture and has three things:

  • Litigation background
  • Knows the Rules of Evidence and Procedure
  • Understands computers and smart phone technology (or can be coached)

As part of our forensics team you'll join other attorneys and former law enforcement and U.S. Army intelligence personnel within the division. In addition to developing new business, you'll frequently have an opportunity to contribute your ideas as a key member of the team. You'll also take satisfaction that sometimes your contribution will make a difference in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve short- and long-term goals
  • Develop an understanding of the forensics industry and related methods and technologies
  • Introduce Flashback Data to the legal community in the state of Texas
  • Serve as the first point of contact for leads from referral sources
  • Attend company events and work on special projects as requested
  • Document your activities in our internal databases

This position reports to the Director of Forensics. Candidates with professional background only.
